I have had the immense pleasure of discovering Scalzi through his science fiction, though I have managed to devour only one novel so far. I wish I had more, but my TBR Babylon Tower is heading towards the sun as we speak, so I am patient. However I am having serious itch, which I think only "The God Engines" can scratch. Both covers have their charm I have to admit. The first is a very nostalgic image from the time cover art in this style ruled the fantasy genre and to an extent still does. The second however is my favorite as it is so easy on the eyes and the man on the cover has that mysterious mischief I find irresistible.
