It was a very straining experience.Harry Markovhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09140305922494369576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3878336841714905515.post-29282576247714536272009-10-12T06:13:53.277-07:002009-10-12T06:13:53.277-07:00@ Mark David: It's so few and I had panic guil...@ Mark David: It's so few and I had panic guilt attacks afterwards, so I did remember. This one I accepted way back in the beginning of my blogging, when any kind of review copy is worshipped. In fantasy and horror and other spec fic genres like sci-fi too these are not as important. The suspension of disbelief as well as world building are looked upon more often than not.Harry Markovhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09140305922494369576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3878336841714905515.post-35842250487809157412009-10-12T06:00:18.894-07:002009-10-12T06:00:18.894-07:00I had great difficulties with this one too. And although I finished it, I have to say that it took me great will and several points when I really want to stop reading it.Mihai A.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08534691063946241019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3878336841714905515.post-91478131734258077882009-10-12T05:18:53.773-07:002009-10-12T05:18:53.773-07:00Wow, you counted all of them? I've learned, however, that sometimes reading free excerpts help... sometimes. At least that helps me filter out books that are written in a style that I simply wouldn't like (since literary quality and narrative form is very important for me).Mark Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00191881042368314958noreply@blogger.com
